AI crawler analytics for your link-in-bio page

MonoProfile shows how often AI crawlers such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity fetch your link-in-bio page, split into answers, indexing and training. Visits are identified by the user agent each crawler declares, so the figures are indicative.

Three kinds of AI crawler visits

Each AI company documents what its crawlers are for. MonoProfile puts every visit in one of three categories, taken from that documentation:

ChatGPT (source)ChatGPT-UserOAI-SearchBotGPTBot
Claude (source)Claude-UserClaude-SearchBotClaudeBot
Perplexity (source)Perplexity-UserPerplexityBot—

Apple (source)—Applebot—
Amazon (source)Amzn-UserAmzn-SearchBotAmazonbot
DuckDuckGo (source)DuckAssistBot——

CCBot (Common Crawl) and Bytespider (ByteDance) are counted as unclassified AI crawlers: their makers do not document a use in these categories.

In the dashboard, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity each have their own bar; the other companies are grouped under Other.

What you see in the dashboard

In Analytics, the AI crawlers tab shows AI crawler visits identified by their declared user agent, over the period you choose:

MonoProfile Analytics tab, AI crawlers view for a fictional ceramics studio page over 28 days: a note that visits are identified by their declared user agent, tiles for AI answers (7), indexing (8) and training (5) with the change from the previous period, and stacked bars per assistant: ChatGPT 9, Claude 3, Perplexity 4, Other 5.

For an account with several pages, AI crawler visits on each page. Example with fictional data.

With several pages (Premium plan), the overview of your statistics also adds up the AI crawler visits of all the pages you own, by category and by assistant.

What is recorded, and what is not

For each visit of a crawler it recognises, MonoProfile adds one to a daily count. Only five things are kept: the day, the page, the assistant, the category and the number of visits.

No IP address, no full user agent and no city is stored. Only the public pages of creators are counted.

The rest of your statistics work without visitor cookies, as explained on the cookie-free analytics page.

Why it helps

You learn whether AI assistants read your page, and for which use: answering someone, building a search index or collecting training data.

You learn whether your page is read, not whether it is cited: a visit does not mean that your page appeared in an answer, and MonoProfile never sees the answers themselves.

Comparing a period with the previous one shows whether these visits change, for example after you update your page.

Plans

AI crawler statistics are included in every plan, with the statistics history of the plan:

The comparison with the previous period is shown when that period is inside your plan's history.

Questions

Are the figures exact?

They are indicative. Visits are identified by the user agent each crawler declares, which any client can imitate, and crawlers that MonoProfile does not recognise are not counted.

Does a visit mean my page appeared in an answer?

Not necessarily. A visit in the Answers category means an assistant fetched your page while answering someone. MonoProfile does not see the answer itself.

Can I block AI crawlers on my page?

Not for your page alone. Crawlers follow the robots.txt file of the whole MonoProfile site, which the platform manages.

Are Google and Bing counted?

Yes, apart from AI crawlers. Their crawlers appear in a separate Search engines section and are not added to the AI crawler counts.

Which plans include it?

Every plan, with its own statistics history: 28 days on Free, up to the whole history on Premium.
