Link-in-bio analytics without visitor cookies

MonoProfile counts views and clicks on your link-in-bio page without setting any cookie on your visitors. Unique visitors come from a fingerprint that changes every day and is not tied to a stored IP address.

What is counted

Each view and each click is recorded with its date and time, the page and the link, and these details:

From these records, the dashboard shows views, unique visitors, clicks, click-through rate and the breakdowns by link, source, place, device and campaign.

How unique visitors are counted without cookies

Each day, MonoProfile computes a short fingerprint from the date, the page, the visitor's IP address and user agent, and a secret value, and keeps only the first 16 characters of its SHA-256 hash.

The IP address itself is never stored. Because the date and the page are part of the calculation, the same person gets a new fingerprint every day and on every page, so visits cannot be followed from one day or one page to the next.

Clicks are sent by the browser when a link is opened, and links point straight to their destination, with no redirect through MonoProfile. Robots, link previews and automated tools are recognised from their user agent and not counted.

What the creator sees

The creator sees totals and breakdowns, never who a visitor is: no IP address, no name and no fingerprint appear in the dashboard or in its exports.

How long the data is kept

Detailed records are kept for 400 days. After that, only daily totals remain, for as long as the page exists. On the Free plan, the dashboard shows the last 28 days.

What can still set cookies

Content a creator embeds from another service loads from that service, which may set its own cookies: for example a Spotify player, a Calendly calendar or a Google map. YouTube videos use the youtube-nocookie.com address.

On the Pro plan, a creator can add Google Analytics or a Meta pixel to their page. They load only after the visitor accepts them in a banner on the page, and the visitor's answer is remembered in their own browser, not sent to MonoProfile.

Does my page need a cookie banner?

MonoProfile sets no cookie on your visitors, so its own analytics add no banner to your page. If you add Google Analytics or a Meta pixel, the page shows its consent banner before loading them. Embedded content from other services follows those services' rules.

Questions

Are cookie-free analytics free?

Yes. They are part of the Free plan, which has no time limit and shows 28 days of history.

Can I see my UTM campaigns?

Yes. Views and clicks are broken down by UTM source, medium and campaign, taken from the address visitors open.

What if I add Google Analytics?

Google Analytics and the Meta pixel come with the Pro plan and load only after the visitor accepts them. The MonoProfile statistics keep counting either way, without cookies.

Is my visitors' data sold?

No. MonoProfile sells no personal data and shows no advertising.
